HOW IT BEGAN
Men deserved
their own solution.
Esteem Apparel began in Canada in 2016, when founder James Grandy saw a simple gap: shapewear was moving forward, but most of the conversation was focused on women. Men needed something designed for them.
We tested a couple of styles on Amazon. The response — and the reviews — showed us there was a real need for comfortable compression undershirts that could stay discreet beneath everyday clothing.
That became our focus: men's shapewear designed in North America, with chest and stomach compression, a smooth silhouette, and a fit made for real life.

The goal is still the one we started with — help men find comfortable, discreet support and feel better in their clothes.
