Style Selection, Wearing, Washing & Sizing Guide
Use this page to choose the right Esteem Apparel style for your goal, then follow the washing, drying, and sizing guidance below to get the best fit and longest life from your shirt.
If your main priority is gynecomastia or chest flattening, start with Original. If your priority is overall body slimming, start with Max. If your priority is breathable everyday wear, start with EliteSlim.
How to Put On Your Compression Shirt Properly
For the smoothest fit and the best chest and stomach compression, step into the shirt and pull it up gradually instead of yanking it on from the top. That helps the fabric sit more evenly across the torso.
Which Style Should You Choose?

Original is the tightest style and the best choice for chest flattening, gynecomastia, and men who want the strongest compression effect under clothing.

Max is slightly less tight than Original, has fewer seams, looks the most sporty, and is the best choice for overall body slimming.

EliteSlim is again less tight overall, more breathable than all styles, feels the most like a traditional undershirt, and is the best in-between option if you want support without the strongest compression feel.
If you are not sure where to start, think about your main goal first: chest flattening = Original, overall slimming = Max, everyday breathable undershirt feel = EliteSlim.
Machine wash cold or low temperature
Gentle washing helps preserve compression and fabric recovery.
Hang dry for best results
You can use a low-temperature dryer briefly, but hang drying is best for maintaining shape and elasticity.
Do not bleach or iron
High heat and harsh chemicals can shorten the life of the fabric and reduce compression.

Washing & Care FAQs
Can I machine wash my compression shirt?
Yes. Machine wash cold or at a low temperature using a gentle cycle. Gentle washing helps preserve the shirt's compression and fabric recovery. Follow the care label on your garment.
Can I put my compression shirt in the dryer?
Hang drying is best for maintaining shape and elasticity. If you use a dryer briefly, choose a low-temperature setting and follow your garment's care label. Avoid high heat.
Can I bleach or iron my shirt?
Do not bleach or iron your compression shirt. High heat and harsh chemicals can shorten the life of the fabric and reduce compression.
How can I help my shirt keep its shape?
Wash gently, avoid high heat, and hang dry for best results. When putting it on, step into the shirt and pull it up gradually instead of stretching it over your head.
How should I put on my compression shirt after washing?
Once the shirt is dry, step into it and pull it up gradually. Smooth the fabric evenly across your torso rather than yanking it on from the top.
My shirt feels very tight. Should I stretch it out?
Use the sizing guide to check your measurements rather than stretching the shirt to change its size. Original is our tightest style. If the fit isn't right, contact us about a free size exchange.
